New Balance 1500 “Sand” Lands May 8th

Though it’s now off and running into its third decade of life the New Balance 1500 has not missed a step. Since 2019’s 30th-anniversary celebrations subsided, the retro trainer has been tacking on some impressive-yet-sporadic efforts, including this new option for May 8th. It has been titled the New Balance 1500 “Sand”, due to its forefoot mesh and pigskin pigments. Its complemented by a sunbleached and weathered white midfoot overlay, before migrating to earthy browns in the back. Tongues, liners, laces, and midsoles don an off-white hue, while a Spring staple gum rubber outsole arrives underfoot to complete the design.

Euro retailers 43einhalb has announced a May 8th release for the New Balance 1500 “Sand”, with a release expected to hit regional New Balance websites around the same time.
