Continuing to load up on collaborations, the New Balance 2002R has just been revealed in a creative new take courtesy of Japanese retailers atmos. but it seems that the in-house design team in Boston have been getting a little adventurous, too, with a new trio of hiking boot-inspired releases set to take the fall season by storm.
Two of the three look to classic boots for inspiration, with one prepared in classic tan, and the other in black. The third option in beige joins the trio, all of which feature a slew of outdoor-inspired finishes. Most notably, pops of juxtaposed color flush the pairs, with the beige pair looking to pinks, purples, and olives, whilst the tan option looks to red and green. The black is more subtle, with dark purple and green pops used sparingly. All come equipped with special toe protection — including leather toe boxes — boot-inspired eyestays, and plush woven laces to harness that outdoor aesthetic.
though some pairs are already available in the Asia Pacific market, you probably won’t expect to see these land Stateside until the end of Summer. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the trio below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
