Thoguh the hype has settled considerably for the New Balance 2002R, the silhouette remains a favorite for long-time New Balance fans — and the brand itself, it seems — with more and more colorways coming to light as the year closes out. One of the final expected for 2022 is this new distressed-look New Balance 2002R “Magnet,” — and it comes constructed with GORE-TEX fabrication the combat the Fall/Winter weather.

This delivery is done up completely in majority “Magnet” grey hues, with mesh and suede textiles providing the bulk of the construct. The pair is given a shock of contrast at the midfoot “N” motif of light silver, while less-obvious color changes are seen at the distressed overlays of Mood Indigo. that pre-worn finish is then mirrored on the outsole’s crushed-ice-like whitewash to complete the design.
