After a slew of vibrant options over the past month or so, the retro-inspired New balance 327 has seen a swift return to some classic palettes — including these two gum-soled releases for this weekend. Another classic combo the silhouette has dabbled in on occasion is the revered “USA” trio of navy, white and red, which once again appears on the silhouette — this time in more flamboyant fashion.
Here, the pair sports striking split nylon uppers, with Navy covering the toe and lateral panels, and a piercing red riding the medial. The abundant overlays all arriving in a crisp, stark white leather, with midsoles, tongues, and outsoles all arriving in matching hue. A possible link to the ill-fated 2022 Olympic Games, the branding hits all arrive in a golden hue — it’s also the first time the silhouette has sported the iconic gradient NB motif made famous by the brand in the early 1990s.
Pairs have already made their way to retailers throughout Asia, though a Stateside drop has yet to be confirmed. Until such news breaks, take in an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep it locked on our official Twitter account for further updates.
