New Balance 327 “Paisley Pack” Appears

Ever since its inception, the retro-inspired New Balance 327 silhouette has slowly but surely been adding experimental elements to its designs. Collaborations from Casablanca and Levi’s have a lead that charge, but now it’s thair mainline pairs that are receiving some extra flair, with a two-piece Paisley Pack preparing for launch.

Hitting shelves in Asia this week, the men’s and ladies’ editions opt for vastly different aesthetics. For the fellas, you’ll find a traditional mix of red and blue paisley prints throughout the upper, with the two tones reflected across its split-blocked suede overlays. There’s a significant focus on white, with medial mid-panel, laces, midsoles, and midfoot N motifs all adorning the hue, with a quick pop of olive suede at the lower lateral eyelets and a black rubber outsole completing the design.

The ladies receive something significantly lighter in complexion, with pastel pinks, greens, and blues working with whites and greys throughout. There is notably less of the titular print featured here too, with both medial mid, and lateral quarter panels proffering solid hues.
