Following its first-ever retro last month by-way-of Teddy Santis and his New York-based label Aime Leon Dore, NB will now look to release a handful of OG colorways of the New Balance 550 retro hoops silhouette.
True to their OG ’89 release, the first-up options will arrive dressed in white perforated and smooth leather, each accented in blue and red respectively. Each come blocked identically, with black pops at the collar, heel clip, and vamp, with repetitive colors coming in at the ankle, midfoot N motifs, and branding detail. Sole units work through the trio of hues, with white forming the midsole, leaving the remaining two to fight it out on the outsole. Both pairs are capped off with standard flat white laces, and retro branding at the tongues.
Grab a preview of the colorways here below, and look for both of these New Balance 550 styles to hit retailers throughout Asia and *hopefully* on NewBalance.comon December 1st for $110 a pop. US stores are yet to confirm their release.
