Cow Fur Covers The New Balance 610
The latest iteration of their lifestyle 610 hiker, New Balance has unleashed a bovine-print pattern to embrace the industry's micro-trend of fitting out lifestyle sneakers with faux animal fur.
This unexpected yet striking design for the New Balance 610 features an upper that combines the classic look of dairy cattle with signature black spots on white cow fur. The sneaker is further enhanced by cream-white suede overlays and a matching logo, creating a visually arresting contrast with the animal print. This bold design choice follows the footsteps of other recent releases like the Air Footscape Woven and the Wales Bonner Samba, which also explored the animal print motif.
Adding to the sneaker's robust design, black hues extend to the sole, while touches of brown make their presence felt on the underfoot support and ankle collar, hinting at either brown cows or perhaps even a saddle. This subtle nod to rural themes adds a layer of depth and playfulness to the design.
Pairs of this bovine-based sneaker are now available on NewBalance.com for $140.
