Another day, another New Balance 992, further reiterating that the silhouette is here to stay for the foreseeable future. This time around, the retro-inspired silhouette takes on a more modern aesthetic with classic grey mesh and suede mixed with stark blacks and vivid volt.
Uppers are split between grey mesh at the forefoot and black in the back — and much the same goes for the suede and leather overlays, save the grey pigskin mudguard reaching back to the quarter. Underfoot you’ll find a split grey/white midsole and black rubber outsole, and the pair is highlighted by flashes of volt at the heel, tongue branding, midfoot N motif, and forefoot to complete the design.
