The Barrage of New Balance 992s continues for a third straight day, with this new Volt, Fawn and Black the latest colorway to surface.
This new variation joins nine others in having hit the web over the past few days, further cementing the Boston-based brand’s plans for Summer 2020: a New Balance 992 takeover. Here, we see a fairly classic release, save the vibrant volt yellow overlays. Fawn mesh uppers, black pigskin mudguards and tongues, and a grey, white, and black sole unit is as “New Balance” as it gets. But add to that the aforementioned highlighter hits on the upper — along with a subtle pop of blue at the heel — and they’ve transformed a pretty drab sneaker into a certified Summer slapper.
