New Balance Revisits 1982 for Gator Run Retro, Another Trendy Style

New Balance might be best known for its variety of chunky, extra-comfortable footwear, but the North American institution has a long history of experimenting with silhouette.

In 1982, the Boston-based stalwart launched the Gator Run, a low-profile sneaker that blended expertise on the track field with eccentric style. Before January ends, the New Balance Gator Run will return in all its glory.
