    Kawhi 4

Kawhi Leonard has only played 11 games so far in the 2024-2025 NBA season. It's uncertain how the the two-time champion will close out the year with the Los Angeles Clippers, but what's already been set in stone is that the forward has another New Balance KAWHI 4 on the way.

Debuted at the tail end of last season, the sneaker has promised (and delivered) more reliable performance than its predecessor, which was discontinued for quality purposes after only a couple of releases. Leonard's fourth signature model with New Balance indulges in a number of details that ensure the 33-year-old can still compete at the highest level: dual-density FuelCell cushioning; exposed carbon fiber plate; and an Energy Arc setup. Together, these components speak to the company's efforts on the performance side, which have gone all out on basketball in a short amount of time. And while the aforementioned technology is impressive on its own, the latest KAWHI 4 also takes on a color palette sure to demand attention on the hardwood.

A combination of 'Purple Punch/Signal Pink' come together on the upcoming basketball shoe from New Balance. In comparison to the sneaker's inaugural colorways, the newly-surfaced pair features a much more tonal finish across its engineered mesh upper, TPU heel cage, and robust tooling underfoot. The two titular hues divvy up real estate throughout the top and bottom halves, with yellowish accents appearing on the lateral midsole, heel, and tongue. A gradient finish also lands on the insole, which, when coupled with the palm tree and seagull graphics on the outsole, suggests Leonard's newest signature drop has been inspired by Los Angeles or some other tropical destination.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. The KAWHI 4 'Purple Punch' releases via NewBalance.com on Friday, Feb. 7, for $160.
