New Balance to Debut Hiking-Inspired MSCRC For Fall

Gradually pushing the envelope further and further, Boston-based brand New Balance has been striking a chord with fans new and old in 2019, thanks to a slew of vibrant updates to classic silhouettes, as well as all-new out-there models like this all-new trail-ready MSCRC. Further experimenting in the market, this new hiking-focused silhouette wonders far from the brand’s classics, but still retains a touch of its heritage design ethos. Starting out with a classic shape likened to the 574 and 620, the silhouette gets completely revolutionized for performance. The pair equipped with the brand’s lightweight and durable ENCAP Reveal midsoles, but calls upon the heavy-duty fabrications of CORDURA for it’s upper. Continuing the utilitarian theme, the pair arrives wrapped in¬†overarching webbing, with traditional profile “N” motifs removed in favor of N-zagged ribbon textile lacestays. Exposed foam tongues and nubuck toe overlays harken back to the bygone era of sneakers, while extra durability is added in at the oversized plastic heel clip. Completing the design is a rugged Vibram rubber outsole (what else) with the three debut colorways arriving in black, white and grey, each sporting vibrant pops of red, yellow and blue, al-la Nike’s colorful ACG range,

Take a peep at all three trail trainers below, and expect the all-new New Balance MSCRC to hit select retailers like SNS on October 5th for a very attractive price point of $160 a pop.
