Berlin’s Very Own
Berlin’s very own Overkill has set out to capture two very different sides of the city they inhabit — Berlin — with this special edition two-piece in partnership with Boston’s New Balance. The German retailer has linked up on the 1500 and 1530 to showcase their “City of Values” collection, which consists of vastly differing themes. First up, the all-black 1530 is an ode to the city’s pumping nightlife (and believe me, it is pumping) From dull dark suedes to shimmering smooth black leathers, the dark side of Berlin’s city is captured perfectly. The 1500 sports a lighter, brighter pastel palette, influenced by neon raving, gay pride, and the iconic Berlin Wall art, dosing in tones of light blue, pinks, and much more across the scattered branding hits. Both pairs sport Union Jack embroidery along the heels, to link back to the brand’s manufacturing heritage, while special-edition co-branded graphic insoles complete the design.
Grab a detailed look at both pairs below, and find them rolling out to OVERKILL exclusively come June 22nd.
