Patta x New Balance 991 Drops January 29th

The Amsterdam-based Patta stuffed a significant amount of collaborative efforts into the second half of 2020, teaming up with the likes of Reebok and Vans to close out the COVID-effected year. Now just days into 2021, it appears that Patta will be picking back up from where they left off, with the imprint set to put their skill set to work with New Balance.

Equipped with a Spring-appropriate palette, the Patta x New Balance 991 offers up soft shades of pink and beige across the natural suede and leather finishes, while a muted mint-moss hue rests beneath. The strange combination works surprisingly well together as if it’s an infantry stage of the vibrant Spring from the shadow of winter, with not-quite-sunkissed hues met by chilling greys and mint throughout. Sole units remain standard, split between white and beige with black rubber beneath, while a simple lowercase sans serif “patta” at the lateral ankle remains the only visible co-sign.
