Though he’s recently been plastered all over the news for his personal life, Klutch Sports Group co-founder Rich Paul is popping up in the sneakerverse, too, with a debut sneaker collaboration coming soon. And who else would he be in partnership with then New Balance, the brand at the center of the Darius Bazely / Rich Paul Rul circa 2019.

We’ve got an exclusive first look at the Rich Paul x New Balance 550, a retro hoops shoe that appears to be inspired by just that — retro hoops. The pair boasts an aged-look aesthetic through off-white leathers, sail sole units, and creamy N motifs that fit the design to a T. There are hits of Tarheel’s blues, perforated leathers, and even basketball textures at the ankle, all of which culminate to a bygone era. The pair is then completed by co-branded tongue tags and special-edition packaging.
