Fresh off an announcement that includes him in the roster of 2026 NBA All-Stars, Tyrese Maxey has been linked to his very own New Balance signature sneaker.
Reported by Shams Charania for ESPN, the news arrives as the Boston-based brand continues to look for ways to cement itself within the performance-basketball space. Currently, Kawhi Leonard is the only hooper with his own signature line, but he's in his 14th season. Maxey has only been in the NBA since 2020 and he's shown promise over the last few seasons. Since January 2023, he's been rocking New Balance on the hardwood.
Much is still under wraps about Maxey's first signature performance silhouette with NB, but it's expected that the model sees some DNA from the New Balance Hesi Low series, which the Philadelphia 76er has been a fan of over the last two seasons. The Dallas Mavericks' Cooper Flagg could also join Maxey as a future face of New Balance Basketball, but that's yet to be determined.
Keep an eye on NewBalance.com for any potential lifestyle collection from Maxey as anticipation builds for his debut signature style. The first Maxey NB should launch within the first-half of the 2026-27 NBA season.
