White on white, black on black and everything in-between, the Air Force 1 looks good in just about anything. Itโs seen many collaborations, retoolings and colorway inspirations to date, but this next pairโs influence might just be one of the best yet โ for old school hoop fans, at least โ drawing reference to the GOAT of All-Star uniforms, San Antonioโs 1996 โfits.
Injecting a two-tone palette of teal and orange into the rear of its classic white base, itโs instantaneously reminiscent of the oh-so-90s-colored unis worn by the likes of MVP Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Shaq and more. Adding to the theme is a tri-set of lace jewels, and 90s-styled garment tongue tags. From a material standpoint, buttery tumbled leather takes over the overlays and Swooshes, while a ripstop mesh lines the underlays and tongue, with the pair completed on a classic AF1 sole unit.
But Nikehasnโt forgotten about the ladies either, with a matching pink and white offering, arriving inspired by the jerseyโs Pink Chilli motif.
