A 7-Eleven Nike SB Dunk? Yes, I know what you’re thinking, but it is real.

Sneaker-leaker @solebyJC has taken to the ‘gram to preview this upcoming Nike SB collaboration with convenient giants 7-Eleven in what could be the weirdest collaboration of 2020.

The pair is set to arrive later this year decked out in the brand’s famous tri-color combo of red, green, and orange blocked from toe-to-tail. An embroidered 7-Eleven logo sits prominently on the lateral ankle, along with special heel detail. Lining arrives in vibrant red, while bright whites hit the suede Swooshes, mesh tongues, laces, and midsoles. Completing the design is a classic gum rubber sole unit, stripe lace aglets, and likely co-branded insoles. First images are a little dull, so we’ve quickly whipped up a Photoshop render to give you a clearer picture of what to expect later this year.

Like the upcoming Ben and Jerry’s “Chunky Dunky”, you can expect these 7-Eleven Dunks to be both highly sought after and extremely limited in quantity. Stay tuned for more details, including better looks and release info for the pair — of which we’ll be sure to post on our official Twitter accountthe second the news drops. Until then, enjoy some first looks here below.

Update 05.15.20 According to various reports, the 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low has been canceled. Indedas as a Japan-exclusive release (7-Eleven is owned by a Japanese company) the pair was reportedly to coincide with the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo — an ode to the city’s convenience stores coinciding with Skateboarding making its debut at the Olympics. For reasons unknown, it appears that Nike has simply canceled the release — no postponement.
