Nike's celebration of the Air Max 95 continues to present the iconic sneaker in fashion-forward presentations. Recently, a denim-covered pair clad in a light-wash jean-reminiscent "Ashen Slate" has appeared for autumn.
If you've been following the Nike Sportswear team over the last few seasons, a denim-outfitted Air Max offering is nothing new, but what's important to point out is that this time around, the Swoosh has brought the rugged ensemble to the AM95 on its own instead of relying on Levi's® once again.
Over the years, the NIKE, Inc. portfolio of brands has tapped the American institution for fashionable collaborations that live at the intersection of sport and culture. All of them have been massive successes, often gaining mainstream attention for a niche space like lifestyle sneakers. The newly-surfaced "Ashen Slate" Air Max 95 doesn't feature the signature Levi's® red tab anywhere, but it would easily fit in among Summer 2025's blockbuster project from the San Francisco-based brand and Nike.

Rooted in the blueprint laid out by designer Sergio Lozano's original design, the denim Air Max sees different shades of blue along the profiles, reflecting different denim washes. Protective paneling around the toe area opts for a dark shade of navy, while the sole unit favors a black finish that throws out any fashion faux pas about not wearing black and navy together.
