WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson has a special Nike A'Two collaboration with Playa Society on the way. Cleverly dubbed "PlA'ja Society," the multi-item capsule was previewed during 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend.
Playa Society is an independent sports apparel brand founded in 2018 by Esther Wallace, a former college basketball player. As a designer and former collegiate hooper, she has a "players-first" approach to her brand, which ultimately began as a way to push for gender equity after Wallace noticed disparity between how women's sports merch was designed and marketed in comparison to men's.
As an official licensing partner of the WNBA and NCAA, Playa Society has been able to connect with loyal fan bases, highlighting women players during championship moments and other occasions.
The newly-unveiled collaboration with A'ja Wilson and Nike Basketball marks an exciting chapter for Wallace and company.

Wilson has been signed with the Swoosh since 2018, but her contract renewal of December 2024—one positioning her as a marquee Nike Athlete—has given way to signature projects like the upcoming A'Two by Playa Society.
The collaborative basketball shoe features an all-brown color scheme and four-pointed star-shaped pattern across Swooshes, collars, and tongues. Accompanying apparel and accessories—which currently consist of a varsity jacket that reads "Doin A'lot" (a play on Playa Society's motto and Wilson's name)—is expected to boast a similar design.
A proper backstory to the project's ethos should be revealed by Wilson, Playa Society, and Nike Basketball as the Nov. 11 release date inches closer.
Stay tuned for a Nike.com launch and campaign visuals for the collaboration.
