OG Post 02.05.20 // New York Fashion Week is here again, and that typically means first looks at upcoming collaborative footwear capsules with high-end brands. And, after previewing OFF-WHITE’s P-6000/Dunk-inspired hybrid for 2020 comes another: this AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High.

The Tokyo-based label has gone all-out Fuschia, popping the entire pair with two-tone pinks — a muted underlying layer overlayed by a heavily saturated hue. But it’s not the color that’s got people talking — its the oversized, protruding Swoosh set that’s got people hooked, with the plastic pieces reaching above the lacestays and beyond the sneaker’s heels. Of course, the brand has also utilized some ultra-premium leather in its construction, seen at its best on the extended tongues. Completing the design are co-branded leather tongue tags. It’s also set to arrive in Black and White.

Ambush’s Yoon Ahn has confirmed that there will be two more colorways of their Dunk High collaboration, taking to social to share the news. Yoon has also hinted at a delay for the expected late-May release. Release specifics, official looks, and store lists to follow soon

Yoon Ahn has taken to the gram to flex some on-foots of the black/white rendition, as well as revealing a release window for the pairs: December 2020. She went on to confirm that the pairs will in fact be releasing in men’s (full) sizing.
