Virgil Abloh passed away on Nov. 28, 2021. As the fourth anniversary of his death approaches, his legacy continues to be seen across the world of fashion. His Off-White™ label's relationship with Nike, Inc. is rumored to resume new product releases, which could take place with the Air Force 1 Low "Sesame."
Unveiled during Design Miami 2022 at the "Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture" exhibit, the pair features a predominantly tonal ensemble similar to collabs launched at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art and New York's Brooklyn Museum. A "Silver" finish interrupts via the profile swooshes, which are accompanied by an eye-catching orange tab on the lateral side, and Abloh's favorite Helvetica font on the medial side.

Elsewhere, other Off-White™ design elements reprise their roles, adding another tally to a collaborative catalog celebrated by countless fans of art, sportswear, and design.
According to Romania's Sneaker Market, the pair will release during the Fall 2025 season exclusively in Qatar. The timing of the launch isn't tied to anything in particular, but it's important to note that Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibit was hosted at Doha's Fire Station from Nov. 5, 2021 to March 31, 2022. It's unknown why a launch of the "Sesame" Air Force 1 didn't occur then, but the exclusivity to Qatar makes sense.
