Aritzia's Nike LD-1000 “Edition A” Releases October 30

Nike and Aritzia are teaming up for their first footwear collaboration, spotlighting the Nike LD-1000 in a refined “Fauna Brown” colorway. Teased earlier this week through Aritzia’s official channels, the collab channels both brands’ minimalist aesthetic and design-driven approach, marking a sophisticated evolution of Nike’s retro runner.

The Aritzia x Nike LD-1000 “Fauna Brown” arrives dressed in rich brown leather across the upper, replacing the model’s traditional nylon base for a more elevated, fashion-forward finish. A muted Swoosh and gum sole complement the tonal look, while exposed stitching and a deconstructed tongue retain the silhouette’s heritage running DNA. The result is a versatile design that merges streetwear and studio polish — an ideal crossover between Aritzia’s understated sensibility and Nike’s archival innovation.

Scheduled to release on October 30 for $165, the “Edition A” style will be available via Aritzia’s website and select Nike channels. Early access will be available exclusively through the Aritzia App on October 29.

While the LD-1000 has made waves this year through a series of modern reinterpretations, this collaboration underscores the model’s adaptability and rising popularity within lifestyle and fashion circles.
