Nike Sportswear continues to reimagine the vintage LD-1000 as a trendy lifestyle model for Men and Women alike. For its latest proposal, the Swoosh team has outfitted the once-discontinued running shoe in a cow-inspired print.
Officially clad in a "Phantom/Sail/Safety Orange/Cacao Wow" ensemble, the pair falls in line with an industry-wide push of low-profile footwear styles covered in animal prints. Adidas Originals has arguably had the biggest looks, but the Swoosh has also won over audiences with its variety of silhouettes. The LD-1000 features faux fur across the upper and a haphazardly-spotted presentation reminiscent of a Footscape Woven from a few years back. Cream-colored leather panels fill in the gaps, while the performance-informed outsole underfoot rounds out the outfit in a light gum brown.
