Sharing a love for all things Air Max, LeBron James and atmoshave often come together to celebrate classic moments from the lineage’s past. In 2019, Nike released two LeBron 16 Low colorways inspired by atmos’ “Elephant” and “Safari” Air Max 1s, and after a short break, the two parties will reunite in 2021 for not one but two special-edition efforts. The first of which is this atmos x Nike LeBron 18 Low “Viotech” which serves as a direct nod to the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Viotech” collab from 2003.
Like that pair, this too features a brown-tan-colored base paired with a large dual-layered Swoosh in white and the titular Viotech purple. Though it arrives with significantly less white than the 2003 release, the pair’s dark mid panels and lighter toe and heels — along with a chocolate mudguard and gum outsole — all honor the classic Air Max collab. Capping off the design is a forefoot mini Swoosh and tongue tag in golden thread — another signature finish from the 18-year-old atmos release.
