Toronto's Better™ Gift Shop Unveils Nike Air Max Dn8 Collab
Nike's Air Max Dn8 might not have caught on as the brand would've liked, but it continues to serve as a source of inspiration for innovative folks across the globe. The team at Better™ Gift Shop in Toronto is the latest group to demonstrate an affinity for the model, unveiling a collaborative pair on social media.
Specific details about the pair weren't disclosed with an initial Instagram post, but the sneaker features a grey-and-blue color palette across its future-forward design. The Air Max project was unveiled alongside an anthropomorphic version of the store's physical retail space at 558 Dundas St W. The figure is depicted wearing the unreleased collaboration.
Visible Air units underfoot indulge in a semi-translucent blue that also animates aglets, lace loops, and the Better™ label on the tongue. Reflective accents appear across the Air Max Dn8's profiles, while most gaps throughout the upper feature white dashes. It's possible the design choice draws inspiration from Canada's cold climate, although a backstory to the sneakers is yet to surface.
