Central Cee, a name synonymous with straightforward opinions in the music and sneaker communities, has finally unveiled his first Nike collaboration. Known for his candid views on consumerism within sneaker culture—most notably critiquing the Union x Jordan 1s as “horrid”—the UK rapper champions individual style over popular trends. This ethos is vividly expressed in his debut sneaker design, a unique take on the Air Max 95.

Revealed through an Instagram video, the sneaker is a collaboration with Cee’s streetwear label, Syna World, and reflects his aesthetic. The design features “Cool Grey” nubuck sidewalls complemented by “Metallic Red Bronze” accents on the mini Swoosh, back, eyelets, tongue, and Air units. The sneakers are adorned with two metal hang tags: one showcasing the graffiti-style Syna logo and the other engraved with “Live Yours,” Cee’s life motto and the title of one of his tracks.

This collaboration is not just about aesthetics but also about making a statement on wearing what truly resonates with the individual, aligning perfectly with Cee’s often-discussed views on sneaker culture. He notes how a grey Air Max 95 perfectly matches his favored Nike Tech fleeces, emphasizing comfort and personal style over hype.
