Chelsea's 26/27 Home Kit Celebrates the Club's Rampant Lion
Nike has recently unveiled Chelsea's Home kit for the 2026/27 football season. The latest design for the English club celebrates 75 seasons since iconic football manager Ted Drake took over and reshaped Chelsea’s identity—namely with the adoption of the Rampant Lion symbol.
The new Chelsea Home jersey features a classic "Bright Blue/Midwest Gold/Midwest Gold" color scheme, with the bulk of the design opting for a rich blue finish. The shirt is constructed from Aero-FIT technology, which promises enhanced breathability for players like Cole Palmer and Estêvão. Chelsea's crest is engineered into the fabric, making for an unmistakable celebration of London's blue-colored club.
Elevated gold trimming across the 26/27 Home kit pays homage to the English side's transformative 1990s era, an era marked by silverware and a debut in the UEFA Champions League.

Since 2017, Nike has been Chelsea's official kit manufacturer. Many of the jersey designs by the Swoosh have been straightforward, especially as the club looks for front-of-shirt sponsorship. Next season's Home jersey is no different, although it features a polo collar and the Rampant Lion logo on the left chest instead of the club's official crest. Use of minimalist iconography has become commonplace amongst different football clubs across leagues, merging nostalgia with performance.
