Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus Revives the Nike Air Rejuven8

Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus is bringing another under-the-radar Nike silhouette into the spotlight for Fall 2025. Following up their recent revival of the Air Max TL 2.5 and an upcoming Air Max 96 capsule, the Japanese label now turns its attention to the seldom-seen Nike Air Rejuven8.

Released initially ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Air Rejuven8 was designed as a recovery sneaker for athletes — a lightweight model featuring a removable mesh bootie housed in a sculpted TPU cage. While Nike explored mules and mid-top variations in its early run, Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus brings a new spin to the model that’s more lifestyle-oriented than performance-geared.

The collaborative design retains the shoe’s original sole unit but completely revamps the upper. Flywire cables now dominate the build, creating a dynamic pattern across the forefoot and midfoot. Gone is the original cage and bootie construction — in its place, a built-in mesh lining offers a sleeker, more integrated structure. The side panels showcase a net-like fishnet pattern, blending both techwear aesthetics and a stripped-down approach that aligns with CDG’s design ethos.

Two colorways are set to release: a blacked-out version with reflective silver Swooshes and a clean white option that mirrors the same minimalist execution. In both pairs, dual branding hits appear on the insoles, confirming the Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus partnership.

The Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus x Nike Air Rejuven8 Pack is expected to arrive this Fall 2025, joining the previously revealed CDG x Nike Field General collaboration. Expect a launch through Dover Street Market and select global stockists.
