    1995 was Sensational.

Well… here’s something a little different from the concept Lab crew.

The Air Max Sensation was the first Nike signature sneaker for 1993’s number 1 draft pick and Michigan Fab Five alumni Chris Webber. The silhouette has been re-released numerous times in colorways both new and OG — with Nike going especially hard in 2015, the sneaker’s 20th Anniversary year — but here’s one that’s never been done before, and we think that it might be right on time.

Released in 1995, it’s easy to see the similarities in design to Nike’s marquee Air Max release that same year, the Air Max 95; Its wavy uppers, extended lace eyelets, dual forefoot, and oversized heel Air windows, Air Max tongue branding, and ankle mini Swooshes all aligning with the design ethos of the AM95.

With year marking the 25th anniversary for both silhouettes, it’s a no brainer. We can’t believe it hasn’t been done before, to be honest.
