Grab a First Look at the De’Aaron Fox-Designed “SWIPA” Air Max 1

Nikeis letting their NBA young guns take charge of iconic Air Maxs, with this pair of Air Max 1s, said to be designed by Sac King’s guard De’Aaron Fox next in line for release. It follows Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum’s Air Max 97 which circulated online last week — and there will likely be more to come as Nike turn to their next generation of stat NBA athletes for inspiration.

In true eclectic fashion, the “SWIPA” Nike Air Max 1, the shoe features two mismatched sneakers. The left comes in a combination of Red, Black and White with an iridescent Swoosh, while the other sports hits of Orange and Blue with a Light Purple Swoosh. Both feature Beige tongues with Fox’s logo, as well as mathematical equations on the insoles. Completing the design is Fox’s nickname, “SWIPA” stamped on both heels.
