Devin Booker’s debut signature sneaker continues to build momentum, and the upcoming Nike Book 1 “Blue Blood” may be its most personal edition yet. After teasing a Kentucky-themed PE earlier this year, Booker promised fans a retail denim ode to his alma mater—and this April, he's making good on that pledge.
Blending court heritage with off-court fashion sensibility, the “Blue Blood” Book 1 arrives draped in washed denim uppers, channeling collegiate pride and classic Americana styling. Underfoot, a faux-vintage midsole adds to the retro-inspired aesthetic, grounding the look in a worn-in finish that aligns with the shoe’s lifestyle appeal.
Still, there’s no mistaking the Wildcats' connection. Trademark Kentucky blue hits flood the laces and liner, while the tongue tag features a throwback Wildcats logo—a direct nod to Booker’s one-and-done season at Lexington. Adding to the uniqueness, this colorway also introduces the model’s first-ever exposed foam tongue, injecting a bit of vintage Nike DNA into the build.
Whether you’re in it for the story or the styling, the Nike Book 1 “Blue Blood” offers both in spades.
Pairs are listed to release on April 10th via Nike.com and select retailers.
