Longtime fans of the Nike Hypervenom line, rejoice! The brand is expected to relaunch the franchise in 2027, only after discontinuing the Phantom series.
The news has been reported by Footy Headlines, which also shares that Erling Haaland, Alexia Putellas, and recently-signed Michael Olise will be the Hypervenom relaunch's three main faces.
The Phantom 6, introduced June 2025, will be the franchise's final pair of boots, putting an end to the line's eight-year run. Come 2027, Nike Football will have Mercurial, Tiempo, and Hypervenom as its three key silhouettes, according to reports, covering speed, touch, and goalscoring.
As of writing, the Swoosh hasn't announced any changes to its current football boots catalog, but Footy Headlines has a proven track record of being correct with its information. Furthermore, Olise, who's reportedly joined the Nike Family shortly after the team lost Kylian Mabppé to On, was pictured testing a prototype Hypervenom design during the 2026 World Cup™. It's likely, then, that Nike is working on a mix of retro and modern product built on the lethal boots' legacy.
Stay tuned for confirmed details. New and retro Hypervenom product should land on Nike.com by Summer 2027.
