Nike Football launched its United program in 2023 as a concerted effort to empower the next generation of women athletes. Since then, Mercurial, Phantom, and Tiempo franchises have undergone a few makeovers brought to life with insight from the six original Nike United athletes—including Lauren James, Salma Paralluelo, Sophia Wilson, Deyna Castellanos, Patri Guijarro, and Naomi Girma.
Today, the Swoosh unveils United Chapter 4, the final boot pack developed in collaboration with the aforementioned sextet. The capsule applies a light blue and vibrant orange color scheme to the Mercurial Vapor 17 and Superfly 11; Phantom 6 in High and Low trims; and the Tiempo Maestro. The collection aims to capture the freedom of play experienced and championed by the Nike United roster. Sockliners across the range feature the names of different athletes who wear the respective silhouette.
Given that Nike United began as a platform and not only a line of products, a new cohort of women footballers will be introduced in 2027.
Chapter 4 by Nike Football begins rolling out today, Oct. 22, at select shops. A global Nike.com release takes place on Monday, Oct. 26. Pricing ranges between $250-$315. Takedown and turf editions are expected as well.
