fragment design x Nike Air Liquid Max "Black" Drops April 3

It's becoming tradition for Hiroshi Fujiwara and fragment design to help validate new product from the Nike, Inc. universe. The Japanese pioneer recently lent his co-sign to Air Liquid Max, the brand's big bold bet for Air Max Day 2026.

Although much was still under wraps about the all-new Air Max offering when it initially surfaced, one thing was quickly confirmed: Fujiwara's take on the experimental silhouette keeps things stealthy in a "Black/Anthracite" color scheme. Always the innovator, the fragment-frontman is getting in on the ground floor of Nike's latest offering. The sneaker's avant-garde sole unit aligns with other eye-catching takes from the beloved street fashion imprint.

As has become customary with linkups between the Oregon-based juggernaut and Japanese imprint, hits of blue appear sparingly throughout the design and packaging, as do messages related to prototypes and testing procedures.

The fragment design x Nike Air Liquid Max "Black" is set to release via Nike.com/SNKRS on April 3, 2026. Pairs will be available ahead on March at Fragment retail stores ahead. The silhouette is expected to retail for $225.
