G-Dragon has been relatively out of the sneaker spotlight over the last couple of years, but he's taken the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament as the perfect occasion to join forces with Nike. Together, the Asian superstar and Oregon-based sportswear brand have put together a special "Unmatched Pre-Match" Collection for South Korea.
Developed through the pop star's PEACEMINUSONE brand, the lineup forms part of a larger football-meets-fashion project by the Swoosh. The range has been dubbed "Unmatched Pre-Match," signaling that collections by Patta, Virgil Abloh Archive™, NOCTA, and others will be worn by national football team players before kick off. Each capsule is accompanied by a pair of the highly-anticipated Nike Cryo Shot, which allows fans of iconic Nike football boots to wear their favorite designs on the streets.
Early images of PEACEMINUSONE's World Cup™ Collection for South Korea reveals a pre-match jersey done in a predominantly black style. The shirt evokes images of the Norway 2026 Away jersey, though G-DRAGON has applied a colorful print on the back. A Woven Jackets and Nike Tech Fleece Suit should accompany the jersey.
Stay tuned for firm Nike SNKRS launch details, which should surface by the beginning of June.
