K-Pop megastar, artist, and designer G-Dragon and his label PEACEMINUSONE are about to embark on his sophomore Nike collaboration this week — but it’s not the sneaker that’s garnered the media’s attention the week; his family and friends “Red Para-Noise” pair is taking social media by storm, commanding attention through its striking red-rendered uppers.
Though it’s not really anything new, it’s surely intriguing. It’s practically a red version of the original link-up, with bold red wear-away uppers atop a white, paint-marked midsole. Swooshes, laces, and liners all arrive in piercing whites, while tongues arrive in either white or red — depending on which F&F pair you look at below. Capping off the design is a splash of vibrant yellow at the midsole’s AIR branding, vamp mini Swoosh, and aglets, and, though it’s not pictured, it is once again expected to feature a layer of artwork beneath the wear-away red layer.
