The Aqua Air Max releases this Friday

It’s Baqua.

Every year in March, Nike celebrate the anniversary of an iconic sneaker – the Air Max 1 – that catapulted an entire series that still continues to dominate the trainer game today. This year we see the return of a retro colorway from the 80’s, arriving with the same OG Air Max 1 design, but it’s pimped out with remastered materials.

The “Aqua colorway returned as early as last year, but it was only a small batch – this year we will see a much wider release. Aqua, as the name suggests, overlays a white and grey base, with contrasting purple inlays, upper lace loops and details, with hits of black appearing on the outsole.

Nike’s Air Max 1 Anniversary “Aqua” will release on March 2nd at select retailers and Nike.com.
