Inter Milan Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"

Inter Milan has teamed up with Sony Music Italy to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's ninth studio album Wish You Were Here. Special-edition apparel and accessories feature a blue-and-white color palette and references to both the Italian side and English band. The collection also nods to the Pink Floyd Football Club (PFFC), a team formed by the London act during the 1970s.

A lesser-known piece of Pink Floyd history, PFFC informed the limited-edition collection, lending its vintage style to the collaboration. An archival photograph by Kim Gottlieb-Walker was referenced in the design process of the 50th anniversary project, enabling the team to reinterpret a part of history that's steeped in the worlds of sport, music, and culture.

A retro jersey draws inspiration from the one worn by Pink Floyd band members. Additional items celebrating Wish You Were Here include a co-branded Nike Anthem Jacket, tote bag, scarf, drum sticks, and guitar picks. A a special bundle consisting of a graphic t-shirt and exclusive blue vinyl has also been prepped for diehard fans.

Inter Milan will wear the Pink Floyd-inspired Anthem Jacket on Friday, April 17, at San Siro as it hosts Cagliari Calcio. The evening will see a series of activations transforming the stadium into an immersive Pink Floyd experience.
