Fresh off the Australian Open, Jannik Sinner wasn’t planning to stop in Milan. But a one-of-one collaboration with Nike shifted those plans, bringing the Italian star into the fashion capital for the debut of a custom, winter-ready performance look.
Designed in partnership with Nike’s senior design team, the head-to-toe ensemble included a sculptural outer jacket, insulated A.I.R. vest, tailored pants, and winter footwear. The system was built around Sinner’s life off the court, drawing directly from his upbringing in the Dolomites and his background as a competitive skier.
The look was worn during media appearances and at a private event tied to Nike’s reintroduction of All Conditions Gear (ACG). Subtle alpine references appeared throughout, including a silver carabiner inspired by elevation maps of the Alps, reinforcing the connection to Sinner’s roots rather than leaning on overt branding.
Developed alongside Nike Chief Design Officer Martin Lotti, the project followed an athlete-first design process, with fittings and refinements shaped directly by Sinner’s feedback. The result balanced performance insulation, clean structure, and restrained styling.
Rather than a statement piece, the custom look functioned as a practical winter system — a quiet example of how Nike continues to approach athlete partnerships through personal context, performance needs, and environment.
