Following in the footsteps of Color Skates, Supreme and Carpet Company, iconic Brooklyn skate shop KCDC get the chance to deliver their own Nike SB Dunk High. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High takes it back to the early 2000s when both bold pink and blacks were in vogue, and when the store itself was founded. Here, they take a two-tone approach to the upper working with fine pink suede uppers and Barely Rose overlays of more shag. From there, bold blacks are ushered in at the dual-layered leather Swoosheds, leather liners, laces, tongue tags, and heel pulls. The latter two feature co-branded finishes. Nearing the collar is a classic brass eyelet set, one that changes the black and gum rubber outsole underfoot to complete the exterior. Finally, mismatched pink and teal insoles arrive with special illustrations in celebration of the occasion.
A release date for the KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High has not yet been set, but pairs are expected to arrive before the year’s end. Until more news develops, grab some first looks at the pair here below and keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
