Just when you thought they reached the limit of materials used on the Nike Dunk Low, the Swoosh has pulled out a finish from the archives to supplement their strenuous schedule of releases for the silhouette.
Ever-present on collectible cards, McDonald’s merchandise, and almost everything during the mid-80s to early 90s, this kid’s Nike Dunk Low “Hologram” ushers in the titular tooling to its Swoosh, tongue, and heel overlays. Recently seen on a handful of Air Jordan 1s — also for kids — this Dunk opts for a clean, graphic-less finish, instead opting for gradual shifts in gradients from white to blue. This is consistent with the simple leather construct on which said overlays rest, as it assumes OG blocking in clean white and muted blue throughout.
Grab a first look at this new Nike Dunk Low “Hologram” below, and expect this release at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com on June 13th, exclusively in kids sizing.
