The Simpsons have been engrained in popular culture for well over 30 years, with the iconic cartoon bleeding into many avenues, including music, art, and fashion. Footwear is no different, with recent collaborations from adidas, to 2004’s Homerand Marge SB Dunks brought back to relevance through an upcoming “Bart Simpson” Nike SB Dunk Low. Now, it’s this. Nike Dunk Low “Homer Simpson” has appeared as a kids-exclusive, Next Nature release.

Though there are many key differences to the aforementioned SB Low from 2004, the pair’s white base, blue overlays, and yellow brand marks make the resemblance to TV’s favorite father uncanny. Its mesh collar and tongues provide some textural contrast to the smooth-leather build, before gritty white and grey sole units sit underfoot. Perhaps as a nod to the SB Dunk, the pair is completed by a set of fat laces.

Though a release date for this new Nike Dunk Low “Homer Simpson” is not yet known, it is expected soon — likely to form part of the brand’s Spring/Summer lineup.
