Where to Buy the Nike Dunk Low “Superhero”

With Marvel Studios and the DC Universe forever dominating the box office, it would only be a matter of time before the superheroes moved from the screen to the sneaker scene. With countless adidas collaborations to the upcoming Spider-Man Air Jordan 1 High OG, the culture has been well represented in footwear. Now, Nike is unofficially celebrating the comic superstars with a special kids-exclusive Nike Dunk Low “Superhero” — appearing today by way of official Nike.com imagery.

Clad in Captain America-like white, red, and blue, the pair takes on a patriotic approach often associated with supes. Here, the Swoosh has settled on a smooth white leather upper, with tumbled overlays of royal blue and rich red Swooshes, before popping in a handful of regal gold hits at the toe and heel underlays — and, of course, the chest plate-like Nike shield on the ankle side wall. The superhero theme is then completed by comic-inspired graphic insoles.
