Nike will continue its expansion of college-influenced Dunks with this new Nike Dunk High “LSU” — also nicknamed “Lakers”

The Nike-sponsored college has birthed some of the greatest basketball talents in history, with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Pete Maravich, and Bob Pettit amongst the illustrious LSU alumni. But although they weren’t considered as one of the first schools to be included in Nike’s original college Dunk series from 1985, they definitely deserve a place amongst their peers — and with this new Nike Dunk High, it becomes reality.

Keeping in theme with the originals, this LSU offering looks to smooth leathers throughout, with golden-yellow uppers and purple overlays arriving in blocking akin to the OG Michigan release.
