This LEGO Block Set Is Ready for Nike Air Force 1's 45th Anniversary

The LEGO Group has had an eventful year thus far, capitalizing on the hype that was the 2026 World Cup™. For the second-half of the year, it seems the creativity-obsessed brand will continue to deliver more product in collaboration with Nike.

Both parties have previously put together a plethora of efforts that span IRL product and digital initiatives—all rooted in mutual advocacy for play, self-expression, and imagination. For their latest project, the global institutions have come together for a 1,093-piece LEGO® Nike Air Force 1 Block Set.

The special-edition release follows a similar design as the inaugural Nike Dunk Block Set by LEGO®, though its main focus is Bruce Kilgore's "presidential" basketball shoe from the 1980s. Given that the original Air Force 1 High celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2027 (the AF-1 Low technically turns 44 given that it launched in 1983), it seems the Swoosh has asked The LEGO Group to help with the festivities.

The Block Set recreates the low-top AF-1, but it features the "White/Neutral Grey" color scheme that appeared on the first high-top. The profile Swooshes are interchangeable between grey and orange, allowing builders to personalize their sets once the full-built shoe is put on display.

Large, navy "AF1" letters join Kilgore's legendary design, as does an astronaut figurine and basketball hoop. Lastly, rocket-inspired "exhaust" can be attached to the Air Force 1's heel, all while sitting on a base that takes after the sneaker's outsole.
