Lil Yachty is making waves in the sneaker world as he reportedly works on a collaboration with Nike, further solidifying his status as one of the rap industry's biggest sneakerheads. Known for showcasing his extensive sneaker collection, the two-time Grammy nominee revealed details about his own version of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 during a recent visit to Cool Kicks LA, where he admired Travis Scott’s AF1 Low “Utopia.”

Having pursued a partnership with Nike for seven years, Yachty's ambitions are finally coming to fruition. The Atlanta-born artist previously represented Reebok as a brand ambassador but has since embraced the Swoosh, sporting exclusive Nike footwear at various events, including the Nike World Basketball Festival in NYC.

In mid-November, Yachty provided a first look at his upcoming collaboration via the Close Friends feature on Instagram. The Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Concrete Boys” features a supple tumbled white leather upper with dark navy accents on the tread and inner lining. The design includes nods to his Concrete Boys label, with branding found on the box and heel overlay, while Yachty’s signature adlib “It’s Us” adorns the co-branded tongue tabs and photo blue insoles.
