Lil Yachty Previews Nike Air Force 1 Low "Black/Purple" Collab
Between releasing new music and modeling clothes that have netizens praising his style, Lil Yachty has been busy over the last month. He recently took to Instagram to tease yet another Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration, confirming that he's hard at work on the sneaker front.
A departure from the bright, statement-making Us Force 1 project in "Lucky Green" that launched May 22, the newly-surfaced style reverts to a two-tone presentation reminiscent of pairs from the 1990s and early aughts. High-quality leather appears across the upper and indulges in a pitch-black hue. Collar lining, Concrete Boys logos on the lateral heel, and a tired-and-proven radial traction pattern deviate in deep purple contrast. The result is a take on Bruce Kilgore's Air Force 1 that some might categorize as "boring." As with most of Lil Yachty's work with the Swoosh so far, however, the pair simply pays homage to some important looks from the past.
Stay tuned for firm Nike SNKRS release details and official photos of the black-and-purple Air Force 1 Low collab ahead.
