Long-time Nike collaborator Matthew M. Williams took us all by the eyeballs during his 2020 NYFW showing when he debuted the audacious Nike Zoom MMW 4. The overly aggressive, Zoom-loaded, springboard sneaker was out there — even by Matthew’s standards. It finally hit shelves late last year, selling out in mere moments. We didn’t have to wait long until confirmation came for two new colorways for the Spring of 2020 — the Matthew M Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4 “Rust Factor” and the Matthew M Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4 “Triple Black” — both of which arrive in much more sinister styling.
The Rust Factor release is devilish, demonic, and downright awesome. Its blood-red and ominous blacks set a somber tone, while added bone fragments at the midfoot, tongue, and forefoot only add to its macabre mood. The Triple Black is just that — all-black — providing a stealthy arrangement that’s arguably the most versatile option from the MMW Nike catalog.
Both the Matthew M Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 4 “Rust Factor” and “Triple Black” styles are set to release in Europe on May 25th, with a Stateside drop date yet to be confirmed. Pairs will retail for $450 each.
As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
