NBA “75th Anniversary” Nike Air Force 1 Drops October 19th

Set to celebrate their 75th season in a big way, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has enlisted the help of league apparel sponsor Nike for an epic set of celebratory Nike Dunks for the occasion. Now, an Air Force 1 appears.

Though no official affiliation has been made with a franchise, you could easily take your pick between the Bulls or Blazers, with their shared red, white, and black hues muddled with grey gearing the entire release. Here, the latter hits the eyestays, mid-panel, heel overlays, liners, and commemorative tongue tags — but it doesn’t carry the bulk of the blocking. Though used more sparingly, bold blacks take up most of the real estate, with heavily tumbled black leathers at the toe and heel met by color-matched tongues, laces, and outsoles. Sail midsoles arrive equipped with contrast red stitching, and the pair is capped with dubraes decorated in diamonds at the forefoot.

Update 09.25..21 // Originally unveiled in kids sizing, this colorway of the NBA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “7th Anniversary” has now been revealed in adults sizing.
